Overview
This course provides practical skills in applying Information Technology and standard business software packages to appropriate business tasks. Assuming no prior knowledge, it introduces Semester 1 diploma business students to the computer laboratory and teaches hands-on skills covering hardware, software, application programmes and more.
Content is delivered entirely through structured lab practicals over 14 weeks, progressing from core Microsoft Office tools to business software packages, web-page building and communication networks, culminating in an integrated individual assignment.
